How to play

  • Every move slides all tiles as far as they’ll go in that direction.
  • Two tiles with the same number merge into one tile of double the value (each tile merges at most once per move).
  • A new 2 (or occasionally a 4) appears after every move. The game ends when the board is full and no merges are possible.
  • Reach 2048 to win — but you can keep playing for a higher score. Your best score is saved on this device.
