Solitaire (Klondike)

The most-played card game in the world. Stack cards in descending order, alternating colors on the seven columns, and build the four foundations up from Ace to King by suit. Click a card to pick it up, click a destination to drop it; double-click to send a card straight to its foundation.

How to play

  • Stock (top-left): click to draw one card to the Waste pile next to it. When the stock is empty, click again to recycle the waste back.
  • Tableau (seven columns): build down, alternating colors (e.g., a red 6 on a black 7). Only a King may go in an empty column. Click a face-up card to pick up it and everything below it; click a destination column to drop.
  • Foundations (top-right): build up by suit from Ace to King. Double-click any card to send it home if it’s ready.
  • Win by moving all 52 cards to the foundations. Stuck? Use Auto-Finish once everything is face-up.
